As a Bankruptcy Paralegal, Shelly focuses on guiding clients through one of the most stressful periods of their lives with organization, precision, and compassion. Her primary role is preparing bankruptcy cases from start to finish, ensuring that every detail is accurate, complete, and strategically structured to protect clients’ interests.

Behind the scenes, Shelly works closely with attorneys and clients to gather financial documentation, analyze debt structures, and prepare petitions and schedules using Best Case Bankruptcy software. Her goal is to make the filing process as smooth and efficient as possible while positioning each client for a stronger financial future.

A significant part of Shelly’s work centers on helping clients stop urgent collection actions. Bankruptcy can immediately halt foreclosures, wage garnishments, repossessions, and creditor harassment through the automatic stay, and Shelly takes great care in preparing cases quickly and thoroughly when time is critical. She understands that for many clients, filing is not just about eliminating debt, it’s about protecting their home, safeguarding their income, and creating breathing room to rebuild.

Attention to detail is essential in bankruptcy law. From verifying creditor information to ensuring compliance with court requirements, Shelly works diligently behind the scenes to prevent delays and help cases move forward smoothly. Every case represents someone’s opportunity for a fresh start, and Shelly takes pride in being part of that process.

Shelly is passionate about helping people regain control of their finances and move toward long-term stability. Watching clients transition from financial crisis to renewed confidence is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Outside of the office, I enjoy watching true crime documentaries I’m always intrigued by the investigative process and the attention to detail involved in solving complex cases
