Thank you for visiting the Wills and Estate Planning section of our website. Whether you are searching for a Maryland wills and estate planning attorney to assist you in drafting your Will and other estate planning documents or simply just searching the web for information, you have come to the right place.
Everyone should have a Will. Often, people put off having a Will, thinking that creating a Will is something only the elderly or ill need to consider. Others believe that they do not have enough wealth or property to necessitate a Will. That is simply not true, every responsible adult should have a Will.
Here are a few reasons why you should have a Will:

At Ruben Law Firm our Wills and Estate Planning Attorneys know how busy life can be. We know that you have taken a big step just visiting the website and thinking about obtaining estate planning documents. Our goal is to make the process as convenient and affordable for you as possible. Our process consists of two meetings.
During the initial consultation, we will learn about you and your goals. This conversation will typically occur by phone, where one of our estate planning attorneys will discuss with you your objectives and preliminary options for achieving those goals. We will also provide a transparent fee for the options proposed.
Each client is unique; however, we can promise this: our fees will likely be lower than those of any other Wills and Estate Planning law firm in the area. We take pride in doing quality work at a reasonable cost.
Before your initial planning meeting, we will send you an intake form to review, complete, and bring with you. This form will guide our discussion and give you an idea of the information we’ll cover. During the meeting, our attorneys will collect the necessary details to prepare your documents. Afterward, they will finalize your documents and schedule a follow-up meeting for you to review and sign them.
At the final meeting, our attorneys will review the drafted documents with you to ensure your plan accurately reflects your wishes. Before you sign, we will make any necessary final adjustments. Once finalized, we will provide you with your original documents in an organized estate planning binder. If you prefer, we can deposit your original will with the Register of Wills for safekeeping. This service is complimentary, though a $5.00 fee per will, payable to the Register of Wills, will be required to cover their cost.
The first step is to reach out to us by phone or by filling out the contact form to your right. Our phones are answered 24/7 and we respond to email very quickly. You will see that our client service is second to none. And remember, the initial meeting is free of charge, so you have nothing to lose by reaching out to us.
