Maryland law allows a judge to enter a temporary protective order to protect a person from immediate abuse. However, it is not meant to be a permanent fix. I, like many of you, watched the Casey Anthony trial unfold on tv. I suppose it is a little different for me, as a lawyer who has tried criminal cases, than it is for you. To me, it was obvious that she was going to be found not guilty of murder. Remember folks, just because she was found not guilty doesn't mean she didn't do it.
